Better by MTA continues to make the medical travel experience easier for both healthcare providers and patients. Our latest platform update introduces a simple new way for members to collect payments: Direct Payment Links.
With this new feature, Better by MTA members can generate an invoice and send the patient a secure payment link that allows them to proceed directly to payment, without needing to log in to the Better by MTA platform.
Making Payments Easier for Patients
Every additional step in the payment process can create unnecessary friction. Patients may forget their login information, have difficulty accessing their account, or simply prefer a faster way to complete their payment.
Direct Payment Links simplify that experience.
Once an invoice has been created, the provider can copy its unique payment link and share it directly with the patient. The patient clicks the link, accesses the payment page, and can proceed with their payment without first signing into their Better by MTA account.
This provides a faster and more convenient experience, particularly when providers are already communicating with patients through email, text messaging, WhatsApp, or other channels.
How to Send a Payment Link
Using the new feature takes just a few seconds:
- Log in to your Better by MTA account and go to Invoices.
- Locate the invoice you want the patient to pay.
- Click the three-dot menu next to the invoice.
- Select “Copy payment link.”
- Paste the link into your email, text message, WhatsApp conversation, or other communication with the patient.
The patient can then click the link and proceed directly to payment.
A Simpler Path From Invoice to Payment
The goal of this update is simple: make it easier for patients to pay and easier for providers to collect payments.
Instead of directing a patient to the Better by MTA website, asking them to log in, locate their invoice, and then proceed to payment, providers can now take them directly where they need to go.
For providers managing international patients across different countries, time zones, and communication channels, that flexibility can make the payment process significantly more convenient.
Available Now on Better by MTA
The Copy Payment Link feature is now available to Better by MTA members directly from the Invoices section of the platform.
Log in to your account, open Invoices, click the three-dot menu next to an invoice, and select Copy payment link to start using the feature.
