A new milestone in global healthcare collaboration was reached at the Saudi–USA Investment Forum in Washington, D.C., where Jonathan Edelheit, CEO and Founder of the Medical Tourism Association and Better by MTA, signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). Edelheit signed the agreement on behalf of ARSA Health (www.arsahealth.com), reinforcing the organization’s commitment to advancing excellence in international healthcare.

The MOU was signed with H.E. Professor Dr. Aws I. Alshamsan, marking the beginning of a powerful partnership focused on strengthening training programs, elevating professional standards, and fostering innovation within Saudi Arabia’s healthcare and medical tourism sectors.

This collaboration is expected to accelerate workforce development, support the growth of high-quality medical tourism initiatives, and enhance Saudi Arabia’s global competitiveness in the health sector. As the Kingdom continues its ambitious transformation under Vision 2030, partnerships like this highlight its dedication to building world-class healthcare systems and future-ready talent.

The agreement underscores the Medical Tourism Association’s longstanding mission to improve international healthcare standards and create meaningful global partnerships that drive sustainable industry growth.
