Dr. Hasan Baydoun is an Orthopedic Surgeon with over 10 years of experience in the U.S. and the Middle East, specializing in Shoulder Surgery and Sports Medicine. He earned his medical degree at the American University of Beirut and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Dr. Baydoun further specialized through a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard University under Dr. JP Warner. He continued his advanced training in shoulder reconstruction with Prof. Pascal Boileau and Prof. Gilles Walsh in Lyon. Dr. Baydoun practiced in Pittsburgh before returning to Lebanon in 2016, where he established the Sports Medicine Program and the region's first Sports Medicine fellowship at the American University of Beirut. Dr. Baydoun has been an Assistant Team Physician for the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, and other teams. He lectures nationally and internationally, serves on editorial boards of multiple journals, and is active in several committees of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. His research is widely published, and he has received multiple awards for his clinical and research contributions.
