Dr. KP is a British Orthopaedic Lower limb surgeon with a special interest in Foot and Ankle conditions. He has over 15 years of experience at consultant level in managing all aspects of elective and trauma.
In 2006 he is appointed as Consultant Foot & Ankle surgeon at Birmingham regional Royal Orthopaedic Hospital. He has 30 years wealth of orthopaedic experience in dealing with paediatric and adult foot and ankle disorders. He has given lectures all over the world and published articles in peer reviewed journals. He is an editor for journals.
Dr KP Meda was educated in Oxford and Edinburgh Universities and undertook a full Orthopaedic training program in Liverpool deanery leading to CCST. He gained MCh (Ortho) from Liverpool University and specialty FRCS (Tr & Orth) from Royal College of Edinburgh in 2004. He completed a fellowship in Oxford University under the auspices of Dr Paul Cooke who is founder member of British Foot and ankle society. He travelled in Europe and USA to learn the latest techniques in the specialized field of Foot and Ankle from Dr Weil (Chicago, USA), Dr Barouk (Bordeaux, France) and Dr de Prado (Murcia, Spain).
He is a member of the British Orthopaedic association, the British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle society, a fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, a member of Emirates Orthopaedic society. He is a honorary senior lecturer in Birmingham university and Sharjah Medical College.
